![]() and by then you're pretty much "god mode" in the region. ![]() progressiong through the green quests, then leveling gear to blue, then hitting blue quests. * from there, you wash-rinse-repeat on quests of various levels. * Once you unlock some green gear in the shops and green gear in crafting, you'll hopefully have enough money and resources to be able to "level up" your gear to green. Pick the ones where you can get an item (sword or armor icon), or free a gnome (to unlock green gear in shops) or unlock green crafting items (floating hammer symbol). * After decking out in full white gear (and maybe getting lucky with some better gear drops in harp / bell / whistle towers), you can find white, 1-star quest locations to go tackle. ![]() (Again, this can be done w/o engaging enemies. Those are very useful for teleporting all over the zone. * While you're out, look for the tiny (white cube on map) respawn spots, and unlock the ones you can. so all it takes is just some early exploration. You can often get this stuff w/o a fight. some of which contain money or leveled gear. Go get those ASAP, b/c they not only help you get around (boat / glider), but there are towers that the harp / bell / whistle give you access to. Some will tell you about places to get the boat, harp, whistle, bell, etc. Talk to NPC's to unlock areas to explore. * This gives you a good opportunity to wander around and explore. ![]() First priority is to go get some money to buy some stuff from shops or craft it to fill in those missing gear slots. You'll start off with missing gear slots (eg: might not have any gloves, or boots or what-not). b/c gear is how you "level up" your character. * The start of the game can be very sluggish, b/c you'll feel like enemies are very OP. The zones are more forward in letting you know what order to progress through the zone's quests, b/c they color-code the areas to let you know the kind of gear you need to hit them. you can just use them, and thus player skill is more important now (using which skill and when to manage fights) * you start with your skills, so no mucking around with min/max'ing them. (I would like for them to have both Beta and Alpha as game modes, b/c I do like Beta now, but do like the old Alpha play style, too.) But, after giving it a shot, it's endearing in it's own way. I'm an old Alpha player, and I, too, felt the same way. It's intended to be sarcasm of the people that actually mean ♥♥♥♥ like this. I think he's trying to be funny and posting things like this all over the place. They didn't name-call or say the game was ♥♥♥♥ or anything like that. They literally just talked about how they didn't enjoy the game because of the changes. So like honeybuns snookums like dont even think about just smile and wave and be happy about it because you literally arent allowed to say anything i dont like cus ur negative and like so toxic, ok honey? :) I don't think you know what the word "toxic" means. with pieces of what was teased for reworks to the game with a brand new progression system no one knew about till the beta dropped. its on a 64 bit code base so it can perform better, in which, it definently does.īut gameplay is overhauled beyond alpha recognition. Indeed, this is what people refer to as, cubeworld 2.0. So like honeybuns snookums like dont even think about just smile and wave and be happy about it because you literally arent allowed to say anything i dont like cus ur negative and like so toxic, ok honey? :) im laughing so damn hard right now. >:(((( literally me 2 minutes later when i realized what a hateful cesspool this place is i mean like omg people writing things? BRUHMODE ENGAGED!!! >:(((( O_O literally me the first time i saw a negative freak on steam dont even go there tryna start anything ok? lets unpack this.įirst of all this toxic bs needs to go, the cube world steam community hub open for all those who own the game is basically the developers own little dystopian hell state over which they have absolute control and unquestionable rule so, like honey.
